Villa “Hyperion” Mykonos

This project concerns the redesign, decoration, and renovation of a luxurious residence of 105 sqm in Mykonos.

LLB Mykonos, wanting to upgrade and give notes of luxury – always with respect to the local architecture – to a luxurious villa under its ownership, was addressed to Labarch.

The rooms were preserved as they previously were, but their materials were modified. The existing tiles were replaced by luxurious new wooden tiles, a central air-conditioning unit with channels was installed in the main house, and a split unit in the smaller room and the decoration and lighting was radically renewed.

The lighting design for Villa “Hyperion” included both architectural and decorative lighting, with the option of selecting different styles/scenarios so as to serve the needs of each user in the best way. Hidden LED stripes, LED spotlights at selected locations and pending decorative lights was installed in selected spots.

The furniture and decorations were carefully selected to give a sense of relaxation and luxury to the spaces.

The colors of all the walls were kept white in order to respect the local architecture and to constitute a neutral canvas that would highlight the rest of the elements, while the wood and roof beams were painted in a soft color of sand.
